Why Men for Missions?
MFM swag from my recent trip to Colombia 🙂

I know I have been called to serve the Lord in ministry, and know that I can do that from many other wonderful ministries. However, I believe I was led to One Mission Society (OMS) and Men for Missions (MFM).

What I love about MFM is that it was started more than 70 years ago to get men involved in global missions. 🌍

Then and now, the majority of missionaries are women. That may always be the case, but I think getting laymen involved might help change that.

MFM offers men opportunities to use their skills, gifts, and talents in places where they are needed.

While our goal is to get men involved in missions does not mean that we exclude women. Women are definitely welcome and encouraged to go. However, men still need a place to do what God has gifted them to do. An MFM team is a great place to start!✈️

Getting men involved in missions is a catalyst to a life-changing experience, which in turn has the potential to change their relationship with the Lord.

Men who are fully committed to the lordship of Jesus strengthen marriages and families.

Stronger families foster stronger churches. Stronger churches create stronger communities, and so on.

All of these things help foster the advancement of the kingdom of God in order to fulfill the Great Commission, which is a big part of what being a follower of Jesus is all about. 🙌

Why Do Missionaries Need to Raise Financial Partners?

"...80-90% of all missionaries in the field must raise at least some, if not all, of their support for "going".
